In October, an interesting survey was conducted on the Hi-Tech Mail.ru portal, in which 5,000 respondents took part. The Russians were asked to name which household appliances they use most often and which ones in their house are simply useless.
So, the crock-pot has taken the first place in a rating of "Useless equipment". 18% of respondents reported that they regret the money spent on this “miracle pan”. In addition, the Russians practically do not use such devices as a bread machine, steam generator, steamer. It is noteworthy that the robot vacuum cleaner turned out to be the desired technique among the Russians. Although in the ranking of useless household appliances, it is at the top of the table. Apparently, until you yourself are convinced of the uselessness of the device, you will not stop dreaming about buying it.
The survey found that, in addition to indispensable and necessary household appliances, such as washers, irons and vacuum cleaners, Russian homes most often have microwaves, blenders, multicookers, meat grinders, and electric heaters. Less common are coffee machines, food processors, dishwashers.
34% of all respondents would like to see a robot vacuum cleaner in their home, 28% - a dishwasher, 23% - a coffee maker, 20% - a humidifier (cleaner), 14% - a tumble dryer.
The survey also showed that before buying equipment, 78% of buyers pay attention to its functionality, 70% - to the cost of goods, 60% - to the brand. For almost half of the respondents (49%), positive reviews about the technology on the Internet are a decisive factor before buying. And only 16% choose household appliances according to the recommendations of acquaintances and friends.
Experts recommend that all users do not buy equipment just because it is new. Look more rationally at the acquisition of one or another device: is it really necessary for you in everyday life or can you safely do without it. And then you definitely do not have to spare the money spent on the purchased multicooker.
