The Internet is full of ideas on how to solve the chaos problem in a closet with jewelry and accessories. We have selected the most convenient organizers and holders for hair bands and hairpins. All ideas are easy to implement with your own hands, with a maximum of half an hour.
Ideas for Storing Hair Bands
A box or a can is an outdated and not practical item for storing little things. Erasers get confused, lost or pop up in a bunch when you need only one.
A simple but very effective organizer for gum:
- Pick up paper towels, toilet paper or the like. The diameter depends on the size of the accessory. Elastic bands should hold well, but not stretch.
- Put on the elastic one by one.
Such tubes are usually folded in a case or on a shelf in a cabinet. But there is a better idea: to stick a circle of cardboard with hot-melt adhesive - you get a vertical stand for elastic bands for hair. Now they will not ride or collapse each other. Everything is in sight and at hand.
Tip
If there are no pipes, as luck would have it, roll them yourself: from cardboard, old magazines, a pile of sheets of paper.
Similarly, ready-made bracelet stands are used. It is very convenient to store hair bands on them.
Convenient organizer for hair bands with bows
If stored on a pipe, then you need to place the bows in a spiral under each other so that they do not interfere with each other.
More complex but convenient organizer:
- With a stationery knife, make U-shaped cuts in a box from shoes. Width and length - approx. 2 cm, the distance between - 3 cm or 2 bow diameters.
- Fold the resulting cardboard flaps inward.
- Now stick the elastic from the bow into the window and fasten it to the bent valve, like a hook.
Universal holder for hair bands and jewelry
The original way with shower rings:
- Take rings for a shower curtain or round earrings. They should be large enough and not with a tight latch or without it at all.
- Put gum on them, sorted by color, size and as you would like.
- Make an organizer, and for this 4-6 cooking skewers or other suitable chopsticks. It is not necessary to fasten the ends if they protrude sufficiently.
- Hang the rings on the skewers.
- By the way, short chains or baubles can be hung on the outer ends of skewers. The topmost skewer is convenient to leave for earrings. In a word, this is one of the most comfortable and versatile organizer.
Hairpin organizer
For stealth, studs and small clips, the best organizer is a big candy box Tic-tac.
But automatic hairpins, large and medium crocodile clips and curly “click-clack” hair clips are most conveniently stored on the organizer from an old tablet case:
- Cover the cover with cloth or heavy paper.
- Put the rings of linen or pretty thread on both “wings”.
- If desired, fix with hot glue, a large stationery or furniture stapler.
- Hook the hair clips on the rubber bands / tape, on one side or on both. They will be clearly visible, and it will be convenient to take them.
A similar organizer is to tape two thick cardboard boxes, unneeded planks or just a couple of gift bags with a ribbon or elastic band, connect them with a “book” with hot glue and a wide ribbon, and lay a thick edging around the perimeter. You will get a book-box, inside of which there are slender rows of hairpins.
The most popular organizer for click-clack hairpins is the usual laminated cardboard, on the edges of which the hairpins are clicked (and the invisibility is worn).
The more order in the jewelry, the easier, faster and more pleasant to select them for your image. Try one of the ideas yourself - you definitely won’t want to store hairpins and elastic bands in the bank anymore.
